Welcome to Beach Bark Bungalow, an affordable and pet friendly vacation rental destination in Ocean City, NJ.

3324 Asbury blends classic beach-town charm with comfort, offering something special beyond the newer look-alike homes. If you love classic OC style with those charming touches like dormer ceilings and cutouts, original wood bannisters, and cozier spaces, but you also want some modern updates (like a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom), this is the place for you!

Relax in a clean, comfortable space. Enjoy central air, a fully enclosed outdoor shower, stacked washer and dryer, roomy kitchen with gas stove, parking for one mid-sized vehicle, and a pleasant shared front and rear porch for morning coffee or an evening beverage.

Thoughtfully stocked at the beginning of the season with basic spices, cooking oils, detergents and soaps, paper and cleaning products, plus trash liners to make your stay as easy as possible.

33rd and Asbury location gives you close proximity to the beach, Sandcastle Playground is six houses down the street, with playground equipment, tennis and basketball courts. Randazzos, Dot's Pastry Shop, Kessel's Korner, Churn House creamery, Sandwich Bar, Sandcastle Putt Club mini golf, Johnny B. Goode, Wawa, and more are short steps away. The OC Jitney can take you to the boards in less than ten minutes.

Provided are four beach chairs, four beach tags, sand toys for the kids, a beach umbrella, and a beach cart

The Cute Cottage By the Sea was perfect for a short but relaxing getaway for myself and my two teens. The house was very clean, beds were super comfy , kitchen very well stocked and the newly renovated bathroom and modern shower did not disappoint! This house has everything, including outside shower, beach tags, toys, and chairs. It is easily walkable to the beach, mini golf, restaurants and my kids favorite place, Churn Ice Cream! With all of that so close, the street is very quiet. Michele is extremely responsive. She gave me a lot of valuable information before we came and checked in with me during our stay. I am so happy we found her place and look forward to returning soon.

Wonderful first AirBNB experience! Such a cute, clean, cozy cottage! Perfect for our family of 6. We all slept comfortably & enjoyed the many delicious restaurants within walking distance. The beach was super close & the outdoor shower was great for washing off all the sand after a fun day at the beach. Hanging out on the front porch before breakfast was relaxing & even though we had rain one day we enjoyed playing games & watching a movie cozied up on the couch. Looking forward to staying here again!

Look no further! Michele's home was everything we needed and more for our first of many family vacations down the shore! Our children are 4 and 2, so it was important to us to be close to everything for convenience and ease. We were in the perfect spot - a couple blocks from the beach, down the street from restaurants, the park and more. Couldn't ask for much more! Michele was quick to respond, thoughtful and more than accommodating - she even reached out to let us know her home was available a day earlier and was willing to offer that day at a discounted rate. We are so thankful for her hospitality and are really looking forward to coming back again next year!

About us

We have owned the Cute Cottage for over twelve years now, and we love its charm and fantastic location. We reside in Montgomery County, PA, and have raised our now-grown children in OC at the Cottage. We love that it is a dry town, preserving its family friendly atmosphere.

Accommodations are as follows: the primary bedroom has a new 14 inch queen hybrid mattress. The second bedroom has a full and a twin bed, and the third bedroom is a cozy dormer room with a twin. All bedrooms have smart tv's with YouTube TV, and you can also log into your personal streaming subscriptions. Dedicated high speed WIFI provided.

This condo is one of four total units. Most often, the other three owners do not rent out, so this is a quieter building.

Parking is a shared space in the rear of the building, with one spot that can accommodate up to a minivan or mid-sized SUV. Oversized vehicles must find street parking. Fully enclosed outdoor shower in the rear.

Non-shedding pets up to 50lb are accepted with fee, once cleared with the owner. Larger pets will be considered.

The kitchen has been renovated! Now with new white soft-close cabinets, quartz countertops, and new sink and fixtures. It is a full sized space with a set of Carote pots and pans. Kitchenware, dishes/glassware/flatware are provided, along with a pop up toaster, gas range and oven, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, plus a Keurig and drip coffee maker. A new Ninja XL indoor grill is also available for your use! Basic spices and olive oil are provided at the start of each season.

Hall bathroom has been gutted and renovated as well!

Four beach chairs, four beach tags, starter hand soaps, kitchen trash bags, laundry and dish detergents, as well as basic paper products are provided at the start of the season, but not guaranteed at the time of check in. We try to restock throughout the season!

No senior week rentals, no groups, please. Must be age 30 or over to rent

This is one of four units in the building. There are some shared spaces, such as the front porch, outdoor shower and back parking pad.

34th Street beach is a two minute short walk away!

2025 availability:

7/19-26: $1975

7/30-8/2: $1250 three nights

8/17-24: $2350 Sun-Sun (can split this into a partial stay)

Cleaning fee ($150) and any applicable pet fees are additional, as well as the optional sheets and towels ($175).
